About CCO Sportfishing
Being on the water and fishing started from day one with me.
I was very fortunate to be born into a fishing family.
As a kid I was able to spend countless days on the water with my Dad, a former NW charter fishing guide, along with the rest of my family and friends. Most of these trips were based out of our cabin in Port Ludlow on Puget Sound. A prime central location for chasing Chinook, Coho, and Pink Salmon as well as crab. The fishing knowledge he has passed onto me along with all those experiences have been invaluable.
As I grew up I began expanding my fishing areas and learning new techniques from many great fisherman and guides. So far I have been lucky enough to fish in Washington, Oregon, California, Montana, North Dakota, British Columbia and many locations in Alaska along with exotic places in Mexico and the Bahamas. Far and away my favorite fishing is right here in the Pacific Northwest; targeting our native Salmon, Steelhead, and bottom fish throughout Puget Sound and off the coast.
After earning my USCG captain’s license and obtaining a coveted Washington state charter permit I started CCO Sportfishing to share these awesome fish and waters with others. My goal as a guide is to provide a safe and personal experience to my clients. Fishing with small groups of 3-4 people allows me to do this and really get to know them. Whether it be fishing Puget Sound, Sekiu or the open ocean out of Westport, I will do my absolute best to put my clients on great fishing!
